Superbowl Homeboy! The Eagle has Landed!

Posted by: Two12packTommy in VikingsNFL on

With the arrival of the Golden Goose, the Vikings have put the rest of the NFL on notice! It's time to put up or shut up. Rivals and their fans from across the Midwest took a collective sigh of disappointment as their season was just slammed in their face. Yes folks, the DaliFav-ra is back and firmly entrenched at Winter Park with his teammates huddled around. No team in the league has as many

This qualifying game gives the The Golden Lions the dubious honor of playing the number 1 ranked Duke Blue Devils on Friday evening to kick-off the 64 team Tournament.

Posted by: Two12packTommy in VikingsNFL on

A wise man, from the land of the ice and snow, correctly predicted last week's schellacking of the annointed Superbowl Champs, the Dallas Cowboys. Burt Blackwell, a self described Druid Prophet, says he was thinking about the game, and the final score (34-3) was appearing to him clear as day.

Blackwell claims to have periodic visions, and says they are always correct. He has correctly picked the

Big Dom after waking up from LaLaland: "Quick, ruffle your papers so no one notices I just fell asleep. Dom you refs, no frickin way did little Woodie get burned. That big kid is pushing unfairly.

On second thought, maybe I should close my eyes again, this is getting ugly."

Three weeks ago yours truly noted cracks forming in the Steel Curtain (see here). Now the schism in the Steeler Locker room has split the defending Superbowl Champs right down the middle as evidenced by comments from Hines "Big Yap" Ward and SanTurdio Holmes.

Let's first digest the brilliance of Hines Ward (PFT):

Chinks in the Steel Armour

With the Super Bowl Champs already reeling from a sweep at the hands of division rival Cincinnati, and a moral loss to the Vikings, it looks like there is growing descent in the Steelers locker room.

The Steelers are currently sitting at 6-3 (1-2 in the division). However, this is nothing new for the Steerlers. While the task of winning the division gets dimmer, look no further than the 2005-06
